12 down.. 14 to go

I banned myself from going online today. But technically, it is past midnight, that explains why I am here blogging away.

My study plans ruined when I woke up at nearly 10am! As I went out to take my two tablespoons-ful of apple cider vinegar, my housemate was busy figuring out how to use the can opener to open the can of Campbell soup. We ended up cooking lunch (more like her cooking, me helping in washing and cutting) lunch.

By the time I finally sat down to study, it was officially afternoon.

Not to mention, I didn’t do my morning jog. The weather just had to further dampen my mood.. it rained and I ended up not jogging for today. I accomplished 12 notes. I counted just now; there are 14 more to go.. tomorrow is impossible for me to finish the 14, I am quite positive. They are quite heavy stuffs. Moreover, I have church which would be stretching til afternoon, leaving me only the night to do. I am targetting at least 7.

I wonder if I can make it?

Wish me luck.

Ah..

I almost forgetten the existence of these seeds here. Hectic schedule has been strangling me, leaving me no room to even breathe, let alone jog (to burn off the cals).

You see, life is more than just books. Medicine. Studies. Grades. Assignments.

Yet, they are vital. You can’t just ruin your grades, miss your assignments and fail your exams. Things do not work this way. Yes, people tell you that you need a balanced lifestyle, but honestly speaking, who has the time for everything in this modern era?

I loathe thinking about my exams, my studies etc.

Why can’t I be free to pursue things in life like most people from developed countries? Why must we been drilled since young that you’ve gotta do well in studies, do medicine (or engineering, law or anything ‘deemed professional’)?

Why can’t we venture into something more interesting? Something that we may not be sure of its future and promises?

Why must we be like anyone else?

Why not pack our bags and leave for a foreign land and start afresh?

Norway, for instance?

Ok, I think the world has become larger than I thought. I have always been under that coconut shell.
