It is scary. Christmas is actually not that far away. For the western society, Christmas season is all about shopping for gifts for their loved ones. As globalisation is becoming more and more prominent, it is not surprising that even people of the east do so as well. Things may become so commercialised that Christmas is more like a holiday season celebration rather than something religious. Although I may still choose to celebrate the very birth of Christ, I think it is no harm to have some gifts alongside to appreciate family and friends alike.
