I am determined to start this ‘Cutie of the Day’ award. It is mainly on guys (to drool over, duh!) or sometimes, I may award it to girls as well. Let’s see how this goes. There is only one COTD per day, but not everyday we would have a recipient. How does it sound?

Today, I would like to award Fernando Verdasco, this no. 15 in the world tennis player from Spain the COTD.

He came into limelight when he took *some very anatomically oustanding* photos for charity. Late last year, he started dating Serbian women player Ana Ivanovic, which made his popularity surging even higher. I do not know if the two are still together, but I would think they do make a cute couple.

While the Australian Open goes into Day 5 tomorrow, many fans await the shrinking draw. Who would reach the finals this year? Without Maria Sharapova the defending champion in picture, would the 2008 runner-up Ana Ivanovic make it big here?

On the men’s side, many have been favouring younger generation players such as Andy Murray and perhaps even shockers like Gilles Simon. Hey, don’t you think the ‘bright’ younger players nowadays usually use Head rackets?
