What’s this?

Impromptu was what I must call the weekend trip to be, but the very trip up to Oxford marked my first trip out of London. After nearly two months of being here!

Oxford is simply beautiful and breathtaking. I think most places outside London look serene, beautiful and peaceful. London is just so diversed and packed. I don’t mind, though..

I should have worked really hard and be like what Andy said.. if you get number 1 in class, you should be Oxford or Harvard. Hahaha!! By the way, Andy is the little kid at the tennis session I joined during my 8-month break.
I love Oxford!
One of the compulsory activity we had to accomplish was abseiling. The tower looked really high from where I stood. I had never been a fan of heights. But I thought it would be a good thing to conquer the fear.

The guys started off first. Imagine watching over 40 guys climbing up the stairs and sliding down the ropes. I think I got a little jittery at first. But I just had this on my mind, “Get it done and over with. Fast!”
By the time the guys were done, the girls started to crowd at the gear area. I quickly made my move there because I want to be one of the first to do it. After putting up the gears which included a harness, a safety headwear and gloves, I walked up the shaky stairs. My heart beated wildy. The evening wind gushed through my cold face. I was getting nervous.
By the time I reached the peak, I was even more anxious. I had to gather my thoughts. I waited for my turn patiently. But when I finally got onto it, I just went for it. I slided down slowly. Slowly because I was quite fearful. But once I reached the bottom, I felt a sense of accomplishment.
It was just awesome.
KLCC is a beautiful twin tower made of steel. It is definitely one of the pride of steel buildings. Steel, a type of composite material, is known for its strength. Steel has come to be many industries’ favourite material for its properties. Moreover, a building made of steel has that glistening effect. Classy, so to speak.
And speaking of this KLCC towers, architects and engineers alike must have worked hard on this piece of design. After all, it used to be the tallest building in the world some time ago.
On the photography side, it was a challenge for me to capture the entire height of the building. I had to stoop really low on the ground. Look at the outcome!
