Desperate.. not!

Well, I am just fresh out of Facebook admiring wedding photos. I tell you, some wedding photos just make you feel like getting married at this very instant!

My friend thinks I am impatient and cannot wait. We ended up ranting away our singlehood fate.

I mean, who is 22 and still single?

*Waves hand, waves and waves. That’s me, obviously.

Sometimes, I feel absolutely happy and fine with my current state. I do not think I can handle a relationship yet. Other times, I feel rather pathetic looking at my own situation. Am I fussy, choosy or simply lousy?

First and foremost, I don’t have any ‘candidates’ to choose from. So maybe I should be in the ‘lousy’ category. But hey, everyone is significant in God’s eyes, do not ever condemn yourself to be a lousy girl. So I get back to square one.

You know what, people just tell me, time is not here yada yada yada. Be in my shoes and feel what I feel before you start preaching to me!

Starbucks, anyone?

A cup of frappucinno can be so expensive! However, it is always rewarding to buy some for your siblings.. making them appreciate coffee, or vanilla, for that matter.

Sometimes, I do wonder - how can anyone afford such expensive coffee? It’s like nearly RM20 per cup. Alright, say it’s Rm15 per day.. you take it every weekend.. two cups. Rm30 per weekend multiplied by 4 equals to Rm120.

RM120 merely for coffee?

If you’re a fresh grad, you probably earn RM1-2k plus. That’s like about 10% of your income.

Expensive huh!

I would say Starbucks may be nice, addictive and rich, but it is definitely expensive in terms of $$ and calories. ‘Nuff said. Get myself a cup of black coffee. Friendly towards my calories and hopefully more economically for my pocket as well.

A seed has grown

Yes, the youngest seed, born in the morning of 2 November 1994 is now a year older. I remember the morning I woke up. It was still pitch dark and I was told that Daddy has sent Mummy to the hospital. A baby is to be born!!

Of course, Mummy was disappointed that it was a baby girl, but I believe that God has a better plan. He knows best.

Well, we were estatic. We decorated the baby cot with stuffed toys all over to greet the baby. We did not know what to call her, so we called her ‘baby’. We went through the list of names to name this youngest sister of ours. We ended up calling her something that means ‘cascade of water’.

When she was 2 months old, I was holding her. I dropped her on the cement floor of the garage. I thought it was the end of the world.

Well, the baby who fell on the cement floor is now 14 years old. 14 full years.

Funny monkey incident

So finally, I managed to have the chance to try my on my new running shoes.

To kill two birds with one stone, No. 3 seed brought along the dSLR camera to capture some photos. We overall snapped 250 photos! Amazing. The battery hasn’t drained out yet.

Anyway, I must highlight one funny incident. I saw this monkey eating so I quickly asked No. 3 seed to snap a picture. Estatic, she snapped away. Suddenly a huge flash and the monkey stared at her in anguish. She shrieked at a very high frequency.

Poor girl! She was so scared of the monkey after that. For one thing, monkeys are not cute Shoobies who would just come to you and you can hug them. Who knows the monkey gets agitated and end up scratching your camera lens?

Pretty scary thought..
