I spent my teen hood listening to Capital FM which was 94.4 on my FM tuner.

When I moved house at 17, I couldn’t get the reception. Soon after, the broadcast was terminated and due to license legalities, it cannot be heard online from outside the UK. I moved on, went college and stayed at the other side of the country for another half a decade.
Today, I am ‘reconciled’ with Capital FM! I am actually in London when the timezone is right. There is no more funny timings. It is actually relevant.

See this ‘product’? I have been trying out editing photos and making them into very classic photos with some tag lines. It is fun playing around with Photoscape, but one needs good quality photos to go along.
I did 13 pieces.. see them all here on Facebook.

Do you that one secret ambition of mine is to be an interior designer? I love home decor and interior design. When I was 12, I used to get my friends to lend me interior design books and I would just savour them all day long, building vivid images in mind. One may even think I would be out of my mind with such an obsession. Maybe it was due to the lack of those at home, that was why I always imagined so much. Just imagine a lush and cosy sofa set with matching area rugs. You’ve got wooden shelves with magazines. Warm colours to don the wall. That used to be my little dream.

The internet has always been a great tool serving my curiosity and yearning to search for things.
I remember some 8 years ago when I was in my teenagehood, some random friend of mine (I believe his name was Kenny) introduced a song called ‘Hou Lai’ to me. I am chinese illiterate and back then, the internet was not as booming as it is now today.
Guess what. After some time of going everywhere crawling the world wide web, yours truly finally found the song. Back then, I was still using Winamp to play my songs.

Yup, t’was the day before the Windows Media Player comes to picture.
Anyway, my point is really about the power of information technology. I am currently searching something for a few weeks now. At first, everything was futile. But now, I am almost getting there (I think). I am not entirely sure if the information I obtained is accurate but looking back, the internet is indeed a very powerful tool.

I met up with my former roommate back during the college days. We were in Jaya Grocer when I saw Nescafe and I was just reminded of the college days when I was so addicted to the 3-in-1 instant coffee. I realised how much I have changed. I have gone black.
No pun intended.

The me today prefer French press or espresso machines to the instant-oh-so-creamy-so-sweet coffee in packs. I think this is part of maturing and blooming into a woman. I start to appreciate the bitter taste of the coffee. Bitter reminds me of the sweeter things in life.
Now, do you wish to go black as well? It is calorie-friendly, you know.
