Be my organic V!

I subscribe to Jillian Michaels’ newsletter which gives various tips on how healthy living. Today’s Be My Organic Valentine article is quite interesting.. so much of the “organic” buzz going around among us. Every time I look at the ‘organic’ label, I will be laughing secretly. It is just so………… you-know-who!

A mystery

The Rubik’s cube mystery is quite fascinating. It can be pretty addictive. Yet at the same time, one may get bored after a while. We bought a Rm29.90 Rubik’s cute from Toys’r'us. I saw a RM12.90 one later in MPH and a RM7.90 one at Boulevard Hypermarket. Did we make the wrong decision to get such an expensive cube?

Water oven for healthy cooking

Last weekend, there was this cooking demo from Sharon who is an Amway distributor and my sis’s upline. She brought this Helsio water oven by Sharp to our place for the cooking demo. There was this super grill bread which was crunchy but not too dry. Then, she ‘fried’ chicken wings without oil. Rather, it was a grill-like way of cooking with steam. The water vapour helps create heat with moist, making the chicken wings really tasty and again, not dry. After the chicken wings, she did the succulent cabbage dish. Yummy and definitely healthy option of cooking.

The water oven is an ideal equipment for modern kitchen. It is definitely suitable for people who don’t really cook like me. However, with very cheap gas supply here in Miri, I think electrical appliances are a turn off for us.

I don’t mind investing in one if I am elsewhere, though.

OCD

I am watching Oprah on Hallmark now. It is a special on OCD people. I realised that I probably have a certain degree of OCD but not to the very extreme.

At one point, I was so particular about my feet that every other time, I would be washing them. It was awful. I could not even go barefooted at home.

The toilet matter is annoyingly particular for me as well. I was just so, so particular about bathrooms and toilets that I become so uncomfortable whenever I am out of my comfort zone.

Not to mention, when I was younger, I had this crippling fear of something bad happening to myself or loved ones. My imaginations trapped me in fear. Just so sick and tired of all these.

But Christ has set me free!

Gym at home

I would love to work out at home and my dream is materialised by these equipment thanks to my dad who bought it last week for our home. It is a treadmill and a bicycle. I shall call the treadmill ‘Milly’ and the bicycle ‘Silly’. While I have yet to lose any weight (in fact, I am gaining thanks to my exorbitant eating habit lately), I think doing some cardio is definitely good.

Did I mention tennis is good as well?
