Alright, that was a paraphrase.
Thing is, it is a day in history as Obama becomes the first black president. I do not reckon he is fully black, he is actually half black. Something like James Blake. The skin colour shouldn’t be the issue. Anyway, full or half black, being mixed blood himself already shows something.
I know really nuts about the ‘America decides 2008′ thingy. I only read and hear bits and pieces from here and there. However, the insight into Jacqueline Kennedy’s life through the biography ‘A woman called Jackie’ opened up my eyes to what were the things going on behind the scenes of running a presidential campaign. Could be juicy, could be tormenting, exciting, tantalizing, scandalous.. whatever.

Must say that reading Kennedy’s story made me understand the American presidency better.
It is quite interesting to also note that Obama once resided in Indonesia. So near yet so far kinda thing.

Ana Ivanovic
So the final showdown for the WTA championship is now on going in Doha. We see a line up of eight top girls (or rather, women) players of the year. It is interesting to note that the 8 come from only 3 distinct countries in the tennis map. Half of them are Russians, a quarter Americans (the Williams sisters, who else?) and a quarter of Serbians.
Well, for the start, Ivanovic lost to Jankovic. Venus and Zvonareva both won as well. The heat in Doha must be really intense. Gusts swirled around the stadium at the Khalifa International Tennis Complex, Ivanovic had to stop because of dizziness due to dehydration.
Who would win this final showdown?

As a student, I cannot run away from having to make my own notes. Reading helps, but writing down notes enable me to reinforce and consolidate my memory in a much efficient way. The best way to play around with colours. Although I am not one who can claim I have got photographic memory, I think colours still work, somehow or another. There was once I could remember the phrase clearly in the colour I wrote (it was soft green!) yet I just couldn’t remember the exact words. Funny!
Speaking of stationery, it makes a whole load of difference if there were promotional pens for students who do so much writing. Wait a minute, your dreams to own those collections of pens may just come true!
