Billboards are tad cool!

See that? See that?

Yes, the billboard is up! Squint your eyes or more correctly, do the accomodation and pupillary light reflex to see the champion there. He is in red. Of course, you get to see an American tennis player (hint: He went to Harvard) and two other tennis legends. Right beside the billboard is also another tennis-related ad - it is a cartoon blondie with a tennis racket.

Signage is very important. Whether it is a print-on or digital signage, it is something that attracts attention of passer-bys. Of course, with technology, digital ones tend to have more attractions - they blink, flicker, glow or however the electrical current could do. Wonderful!

As for now, I am anticipating the exhibition soon. Soooonnn…

Sleep

Sleep is indeed a very, very interesting topic which one can do so much research on. For one thing, no one actually has completely understood the mysteries of sleep. People can just postulate theories and hypotheses.

Today, we had a lecture on sleep. It was a behavioural sciences lecture (something most people would opt to skip), but I chose to stayed for the lecture. I find that the lecturer emphasized too much on the disorder of not being able to sleep. Insomnia.

But how about those people who sleep too much? I, for one, sleep like a baby. While most of my peers survive with 4 to 5 hours of sleep, I am here with 8 or else I collapse.

Sometimes, I do wonder if I have entered the correct profession. Something which requires so much commitment and so little time left for sleep.

Sleep.. my precious!

Not so far away

It is scary. Christmas is actually not that far away. For the western society, Christmas season is all about shopping for gifts for their loved ones. As globalisation is becoming more and more prominent, it is not surprising that even people of the east do so as well. Things may become so commercialised that Christmas is more like a holiday season celebration rather than something religious. Although I may still choose to celebrate the very birth of Christ, I think it is no harm to have some gifts alongside to appreciate family and friends alike. Of course, the emergence of any sale would definitely help a lot in Christmas gifts shopping.

As for now, a Wii coupled with the sports pack would make the perfect Christmas gift.
