I ran a total of 10km today, 5km in the morning, another 5 in the evening. I feel extremely satisfied with my workout today. How I wish I could do the same everyday. I know it is not easy to keep up to this fitness level. Being a full time student, studies is definitely the main commitment. However, if I could sacrifice some of my bedtime hour by waking up earlier, I could try to go some 5km per day. The weather is also another factor. It almost always rains here. I get so annoyed because of it. Today, it actually drizzled but thank God the drizzle stopped.
On second thought, how I miss playing tennis!

Nadal has done it again!
I was watching the live scores online just now, it was nail-biting close! How I wished they have gone into third set to keep the hopes going, but at the end of the day, Nadal has proven himself to be the clay king, after all. I must also say, Federer must have played fairly well as well. He was leading 4-0 in the second set.. I was thinking, YESSS… there is hope! But, let’s just say Nadal is a true fighter towards the end. He hasn’t dropped a set for the entire tournament, one would wonder if he could be beaten. It is simply too amazing.
On the other hand, I am happy for the June baby as well. You know, June-born babies are simply remarkable. Wakakaka.. okay, cut the crap out. I know the importance of Nadal maintaining his ranking points because ‘Djoker’ is not far behind. I really hope that Federer and Nadal can end the year maintaining their rankings. It would be a nice record. And this year around, let’s also hope Federer can win French Open, even though chances are quite slim.
To date, I have been following four tournaments closely since I rediscovered my passion in tennis. Pacific Life Open was a huge disappointment, Miami was even more disappointed, Estoril gave me a better feel but it was still a small-scaled tournament compared to the Master Series. Now, this Monte Carlo gives a nice final picture.
Next on is Barcelona! Woooohooo!!
p/s I should have it tennis.ofhopeandlove.com instead! HAha!

It is bad. I just lose my temper so badly on my sis over the stupid toilet bowl problem. It spoiled my mood for the day, I tried so hard to keep calm and treat her nicely but I still scolded her for every minute reason I can find. It is very bad of me. I don’t want to behave that way, but I just could not control. I had to stop and just pray everytime I was about to burst.
Story started like this. Sis is here for an overnight visit. The toilet bowl in my room is partially blocked so I kept warning her to be extremely careful. But after she used the toilet this morning (after my warning, as usual), the blockage amplified and I was just so furious. I really detest the feeling of having problems like this happening. It dampens the mood so much. It didn’t help that we were running late for a visit to my campus, then the train to the airport.
I was so devastated and upset. I closed my eyes, prayed for forgiveness and then tried to be calm. I ended up calling the maintainence guy who charged me Rm15 for the repair. RM15 poorer, but at least the problem is temporarily solved. It won’t be permanent because of the lousy toilet bowl structure. I just hope I was not too hard on my sis. I really do not mean to keep scolding her. Words just come out of my mouth.. I feel guilty and hate myself for saying some mean stuffs.

Nothing beats a good bowl of Sarawak Laksa, eventhough it may be over diluted. But the sweat, time and effort you put in to prepare a wholesome dish is too satisfying. It makes you feel so good that your beta endorphins level is probably over the limits.
What is more, it is such a local signature dish that makes you a true Sarawakian. You know your roots. It does not matter that your ancestors are from China, being born and bred in Sarawak, the island of Borneo makes the whole difference.

Oh, Sarawak Laksa is the best!

I am watching the live scores on Estoril Open now.. where Federer is playing Davydenko for the finals. It is nail-biting close, each taking turns to win his serving game. Meanwhile, my stomach is boiling, I have gone to the toilet for the umpteenth time, and the stupid toilet bowl’s drainage is blocked. I don’t know which is worse - having a damaged flush system or blocked drainage. Alright, maybe the former.
And I wonder if the problem would resolve itself..
If not.. big headache!
