Nadal no more sleeveless?
Hey, I didn’t get to watch live.. but according to this photo…

Nadal is no more wearing his usual signature sleeveless top? He is with a polo shirt some more. And loads of strapping around the fingers.
Quick one, shall I?
I have to be quarantined at 10.45am which is about an hour’s time from now. My exam is from 1.25 til 3pm. So far, I have done two days of theory papers. These remaining two days are on clinical skills which become stand alone component. That means that one has to pass this component alone PLUS the other theory component to be considered a pass in the entire exam.
I was a little panicky last night when I realised I did not know many things. The thought of all sorts of questions coming up just make me shudder. Yes, many assured me.. things like, “It is easy to pass, but maybe not easy to score an A..”
I really just want a pass.. passing is so much more precious.
As for theory papers, well, I do not know what to really comment on it.
Speaking on another note, bathroom safety is one component of health issues which we studied. We have to know what are the aids to assist eldery people. One of them is the bathroom rails and stuff like that. Interesting, but I really hope passing is the essential thing!
Safin gets eyeful

Poor Marat Safin. He arrived in Perth, Western Australia for the Hopman Cup with a bruise. He did not exactly reveal but people would have guessed that this frequent party goer probably got himself into trouble in Moscow.
As for team Russia, I think they are doing pretty well in the Hopman Cup. It’s Safin and sister Safina..
I think it’s fun, too bad I cannot get to watch it live on the tv.
What does the posterior compartment muscles do?
No matter how much I try to read, I still find myself inadequate.
I came across this question asking what passive action of the leg would be affected when there is posterior compartment syndrome of the leg?
To dissect this question, I first of all refreshed my memory. So what are the posterior compartment muscles? I could remember a few - gastrocnemius, soleus and plantaris.
Then I was stuck.
A little googling led me to answer.
Plantarflexion of the foot!
Yippie-ness! At least I know something now.
Happy new year 2009!
Whoa. So it is the last year of the year of 2008. It is indeed, 31st December 2008 today. My heart skips a bit everytime I think of the year coming to an end. So many things to reflect upon, so many resolutions to make for year 2009 and everything just overwhelms me.
I believe the whole city would be jammed packed tonight. Despite the so-called economy recession. Who cares? The youngsters are still having fun partying away in clubs. I beg to differ in this point of view. Yours truly would rather be sleeping or spending more quality time ushering in the new year. Not puffing or drinking away..
So how are you counting down the new year?
